Tamales for the holidays!  What a wonderful tradition.  Tamales are labor intensive and take quite a bit of time and preparation.  But the rewards are great… and tasty!  

Traditionally, you gather your friends and family for the day.  It is common to have multiple generations represented in the kitchen from the sage elders to the wee-est of littles ones. There is something to do for everyone, even if that something is telling stories! 

At the end of the day, everyone goes home with a tasty load of tamales!  Food and family, what could be better at the holidays?
