INGREDIENTS
- 1 whole organic chicken
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- sea salt (just enough to cover the chicken on top)
- ¼ cup dry white wine
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven @ 375 degrees.
- Rinse the chicken inside and out thoroughly and lay in a roasting pan breast side down.
- Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze half of the lemon over the chicken and slice the other half and set aside.
- Brush olive oil all around the chicken. Sprinkle; garlic, oregano, ground pepper and sea salt over the chicken.
- Add wine to the bottom of the pan and set in oven.
- Cook for 1 hour or until done.
- Lay slices of lemon top of the chicken and serve.
