Did you know homemade refried black beans could be this easy?   Super simple recipe.  Protein packed and all natural!  No lard or additives.  A great addition to your next Mexican feast.”

 

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 cups cooked black beans (canned or home cooked)
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 3 tablespoons water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add black beans, sour cream, salt, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and water to a saucepan.
  2. Mash the beans with a potato masher while cooking them.  Add more water if needed.  Once they are heated through, scoop into a bowl and serve.

*This can be made with pinto beans too.
