INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven @ 375 degrees.
2. Heat a large skillet and add olive oil. Once hot, cook sausage until done. Break up sausage into small pieces.
3. Add garlic, basil, and onion to the skillet with sausage. Cook on low until soft.
4. Add tomato sauce, wine, garlic salt, oregano and parsley to mixture to meat. Cover and cook on low for 5 minutes.
5. Boil and cook noodles following instructions on the back of the package.
6. To a bowl mix together ricotta, basil, garlic powder, oregano, and egg. Shred Cheese.
7. Cover bottom of casserole dish with 2 tablespoons of meat sauce, layer noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozerella. Keep layering and end with meat sauce and cheese on top. Cover with foil and cook in oven for 1 hour.
8. Serve with broiled gluten free garlic bread sprinkled with parsley.
Chef Notes:
*There is something about adding red wine to lasagna, it just works! It makes the dish complete.
