INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
1. Rinse strawberries thoroughly. Cut off stem and tip, hollow out, leaving one side closed like a cup.
2. On low heat melt the chocolate chips in a small pot, stirring frequently.
3. Dip the strawberry bases into the chocolate and place on a plate. Once all strawberries have been dipped, place into the freezer.
4. Add rice milk to the remaining melted chocolate chips in the pan. Warm and stir into a chocolate syrup.
5. In a small bowl add 1 ounce of the chocolate syrup you made, vanilla vodka, and chocolate liqueur and stir.
6. Remove strawberries from the freezer once the chocolate has set. Fill the strawberry cups 3/4 full with the chocolate liqueur mixture.
7. In a mixer mix together whipping cream, vanilla, and sugar until whipping cream consistency. Or use coconut whipping cream if you want a dairy free version. Click here for Dairy Free Whipping Cream Recipe.
8. Dollop a small amount of whipping cream on top of the strawberry cups and lastly grate some chocolate on top or sprinkle with coffee grounds.
Chef Notes:
*To make a alcohol free version for the children, omit the alcohol and fill with only chocolate syrup.
