INGREDIENTS
- Chinese Broccoli Beef Marinade
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp brown rice flour
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Dish ingredients
- 2 Tbsp brown rice flour
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/3 cup low-sodium Tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 Tbsp sherry
- 1 1/2 -2 lbs flank steak
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 small heads of broccoli or 3 – 4 cups of broccoli florets
DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl mix together baking soda, sugar, and brown rice flour. Add tamari and olive oil, mix well. Cover and refrigerate. Allow to marinate for at least one hour before cooking.

- Reduce heat to medium-high. Carefully add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the hot pan.
- Add the marinated meat.
- Add half of the sauce mixture and saute for 3-4 minutes, stirring often.
- When meat is cooked through add broccoli back to wok.
- Add remaining sauce. Saute 1 minute more.
- Ready to serve.
